Gifts of movement, using our precious human forms to honor or invoke, or simply for enjoyment is Sacred Dance. Lion’s Roar Dharma Center is honored to have hosted Quetzalcoatl Citlalli Aztec dance group in September 2019. This indigenous dance group will be continuing a relationship with Lion’s Roar Dharma Center by practice their art in our Inner Circle Dojo one Saturday a month.

Tibetan Buddhism often uses a form of dance called “cham,” sometimes called “lama dancing.” Chams are often performed during ceremonies and festivals, such as Losar.  We hope to continue this tradition here at Lion’s Roar.
