On February 12, 2021, Lama Yeshe Jinpa and Geshe Damchoebaazar Gurjav celebrated Losar 2148, Year of the Female Iron Ox, with a few students at Do Nga Dargey Temple in Sacramento, California. Physical attendance was limited due to COVID-19 restrictions, but many participated in the event via a Google Meet broadcast. Festivities included a blessing of the Kalachakra Mandala Mural currently being painted by Jonny Knudsen, a blessing of the new Do Nga Dargey Temple sign, a Riwo Sangchod Smoke offering, a blessing of the Tara Shrine inside of Do Nga Dargey Temple, and a teaching about the meaning and value of Losar to our time. Both Lama Jinpa and Geshe Damchoe wore traditional Mongolian Robes for the occasion.
