The Reply of Yongzin Lingtsang Labrang to the Teaching Request

Dear Lama Yeshe Jinpa and Yeshe Gyalpo

Thank you very much for your kind invitation for H.E. Ling Rinpoche to provide remote online teachings for Lion’s Roar Dharma Center and Zanabazar in Sacramento, California. Thank you also for sending the extensive information about your comprehensive teaching program and faculty – this is very inspiring.

Due to the high volume of requests of this nature by many different centres and organisations all over the world at this time, His Eminence is reluctant to accept such invitations as it is not possible to agree to all of them. It feels unfair to His Eminence to accept some requests and decline others. In general, His Eminence has also not felt comfortable to give online teachings at this stage. Therefore, we are not able to accept any invitations for remote online teachings at this time.

Please keep in touch in the future if you wish to invite His Eminence to give teachings in person, when the situation becomes clearer with COVID-19 and the implications for international travel.

With kindest regards,
Yongzin Lingtsang Labrang
