Mindfulness is the ability to pay attention in the present moment without judgement, and with gentleness and friendliness. This meditation group is for everybody of all levels of experience and all faiths. No special knowledge or equipment is required – just bring yourself! Cushions and chairs will be provided. Donations accepted. Facilitated by Marie Gillies.
Marie has been a student on Lama Jinpa’s for six years. She has led a mindfulness meditation group and also trained individuals in mindfulness and meditation for Sutter Health. She really wants to make dog biscuits, and to help people learn to make their way through each day with gentleness and friendliness to themselves and others.
